導入 – Auth_RADIUS の基本的な使用法

Auth_RADIUS とは?

Auth_RADIUS は、radius 拡張モジュールの php ラッパーです。 RADIUS プロトコルにあまりなじみがない場合は、 Wikipedia の記事を参照するとよいでしょう。

Auth_RADIUS は、radius 拡張モジュールに組み込まれた機能を使用するためのものです。 Auth_RADIUS について理解するには、まず radius 拡張モジュールの設計について理解しておく必要があるでしょう。 radius 拡張モジュールのドキュメントは、PHP マニュアルの http://www.php.net/radius にあります。

RADIUS で使用できるさまざまな認証方式に対応するクラス群が用意されています。 CHAP-MD5 あるいは MS-CHAP による認証を使用する場合は、 Crypt_CHAP パッケージも必要となります。さらに、MS-CHAP 認証を使用する場合は、 mhash および mcrypt 拡張モジュールを php.ini で有効にするか、あるいは静的に組み込んでおく必要があります。

最新の radius 拡張モジュール (バージョン 1.2 以降) を使用する場合は、 mcrypt 拡張モジュールを有効にする必要がないことに注意しましょう。

Auth_RADIUS の使用法は?
